I walked down the stairs out to the sidewalk. It had rained earlier that afternoon, the air was heavy with humidity. Walking from the school building I headed toward the edge of town, to my house. My mom insisted picking me up from school, but I eventually persuaded her that walking a half of a mile didn't bother me at all. I like looking at the scenery; spending time outside was fun to me. My house is a little outside of town, it's surrounded by a large forest, away from everything. I don't mind at all. I grew up here, and I enjoyed the woods.
